MY GRANDMOTHER WAS FLOWN TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL, WHERE SHE RECOVERED AND LIVED MANY MORE YEARS. THIS UPSET ME. WHY DID THE FIRST DOCTORS SAY SHE WAS GOING TO DIE? DID NOT WANT TO ATTEND HER? I MADE A DECISION AT THAT MOMENT THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN. I ASKED MYSELF, HOW CAN I PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN? I NEED TO KNOW. HOW CAN I KNOW? I NEED TO BE A PHYSICIAN TO KNOW. EVER SINCE THAT DAY, MY ACTIONS AND THOUGHTS WERE GEARED TOWARD MAKING ME A PHYSICIAN. DURING MY MEDICAL TRAINING I CONSIDERED BEING A RESEARCHER AND FIND THE CURE FOR DIABETES, BUT I SAW A LOT OF SMART PEOPLE DOING RESEARCH ALREADY. I DID NOT THINK THEY NEEDED ME. KETOGENIC DIET IS THE ONLY WAY TO EAT THAT IN MY PROFESSIONAL OPINION, CAN LEAD TO WEIGHT LOSS, DIABETES, AND PRE-DIABETES CONTROL, AND AT THE SAME TIME, BE A WAY OF LIFE WITH VERY SATISFYING AND DELICIOUS MEALS.
